Flight Training
At Aviator Academy we specialize in flight training for ultralight pilot permit (LSA light sport aircraft) which will allow you to fly any aircraft in this category and carry 1 passenger. Today’s ultralights as we call them in Canada are real airplanes and not wire braced kites. Our Tecnam P96 is a great traveling machine capable of cruise speed 120 kts.
The flight training consists of two parts, ground training and flight training. Everybody always asks how much is this going to cost. Well, the simple answer is, it depends on every individual. We will charge $230/ hr for your flight training. Now, it all depends on you how fast you can gain the skills and knowledge required to be a safe pilot.
Part of the flight training is also PGI (preparatory ground instruction), pre-flight and post-flight briefing, which is charged $100 per hour.

Ground School
The ground school, which is required, is provided online so there is no need to come to a classroom. You will learn about theory of flight, weather, navigation, procedures, air law and regulations. You have 8 months to complete it before you go for a written test at Transport Canada.

Tecnam P96 Golf/100 Aeroplane
All metal and corrosion proved aluminum airframe makes the airplane sturdy durable and delivers a longer service life than most of the airplanes in category.
An excellent handling characteristic and performance, two side by side seats and 46 in wide cockpit makes it a very good trainer and cruising airplane.
Due to its design and metal structure it is easy to maintain.
The training in Tecnam takes less time to obtain a license.
Tecnam offers an excellent visibility due to bubble canopy and low wing design.
Also, already licensed pilots prefer to rent a Tecnam for its flexibility, easy handling, and for its affordability.
Flight Review
If you haven’t flown for some time or you feel like you need to sharpen your skills and knowledge the flight review is for you.

Lessons with Your Airplane
We can provide a flight training on your own airplane as well. If you wanna keep your airplane at Greenbank airport for the time of training you pay $60 / month for tie down. If we will do the flight training at your place you pay additional fee for transportation.
